How to Measure Your Foot to Choose the Right Ski Boot Size
Choosing the right ski boot size is essential for comfort, control, and performance on the slopes. A precise foot measurement helps you determine your mondopoint size, which is the international standard used for ski boots. Follow this guide to measure your foot accurately at home.
What You’ll Need
- A sheet of paper
- A pencil
- A ruler or measuring tape
- A wall
Step-by-Step Instructions
-
Place the sheet of paper on the floor, against a wall.
-
Stand on the paper with your heel touching the wall. Make sure you are standing naturally, with your weight evenly distributed.
-
Draw a line at the tip of your longest toe.
-
Measure the distance from the edge of the paper (heel) to the line you drew (toe).
-
Repeat with the other foot. It’s common to have one foot slightly larger — always use the longest measurement.
-
Use the measurement (in centimeters) to determine your mondopoint size, which typically corresponds directly to your foot length (for example: 26.5 cm ≈ MP 26.5).
